Serpent and rose wall art: style a romantic gothic bedroom

Serpent and rose artwork brings movement into a romantic gothic room. The curved body travels through the composition while the roses provide smaller points of colour. In a bedroom, the combination works best when the room repeats those ideas selectively rather than surrounding the print with many competing motifs.
Echo the curved serpent line in a vase or mirror shape
Use a curved accessory to connect the artwork to the furniture. An oval mirror, rounded vase or softly gathered curtain can echo the serpent's movement without repeating the subject literally. Straight bed frames and plain shelves then provide a useful contrast. This balance keeps the image distinct while giving it a reason to belong in the room.
Pull one rose colour into the bedding
Choose one rose tone for the textiles. A dusty burgundy or muted pink accent can sit beside cream linen and dark timber without turning the whole scheme into a floral room. Compare the selected print with fabric samples under the same light. Screen colours are a starting point; the paper and room lighting will affect the finished result.
Keep the rest of the wall simple around a strong symbol
If the print sits above bedside furniture, check the lamp's outline before settling on the final position. A tall lampshade can interrupt the curve that makes the artwork interesting. You may find that one large print beside the bed reads more clearly than a tightly packed group above it. Leave enough clear wall for the full botanical surround to register.
Check the A1 print before choosing a frame
The supplied A1 artwork is portrait, 594 × 841 mm. Measure the paper and the outside frame separately, then make a full-size paper template to test the wall. PNG files are 7016 × 9933 pixels, tagged at 300 DPI; the matching SVGs are editable vector artwork. Ask your printer to check the chosen file, paper and any border or bleed requirements. A small proof helps you assess colour and fine detail before ordering a large print. Printing and framing are separate from the digital download.
