Gothic window prints: add architectural interest to a plain wall

A plain wall can feel unfinished even when the furniture is already working. Gothic window prints introduce an architectural outline without requiring a built-in feature. Their pointed arches and restrained internal geometry give the wall structure, making them useful above a console or beside a simple modern chair.
Choose an arch as the strongest vertical shape
Choose the arch as the main shape and give it room. The delicate lines are easiest to read when nearby accessories have uncomplicated silhouettes. A low bowl or a single broad-leaved plant will usually be a clearer companion than several ornate objects. The aim is to let the illustration suggest architecture while the actual room remains practical.
Use a matching frame finish to unify window variations
Compare artwork backgrounds against the wall in daylight and again under the room's evening lighting. A parchment version creates a lighter architectural study; a dark version makes the arch appear more contained and dramatic. Keep the frame finish consistent if you mix them. That repeated edge can unite a group even when the paper grounds differ.
Plan generous gaps so the thin linework can breathe
A symmetrical arrangement suits the window motif, but it does not have to fill the entire wall. One large print centred over a console can be enough. For a row, calculate the outside frame widths and all gaps, then check that the group leaves some wall visible at either end. A narrow room may benefit from a single arch instead of several competing verticals.
Check the A1 print before choosing a frame
The supplied A1 artwork is portrait, 594 × 841 mm. Measure the paper and the outside frame separately, then make a full-size paper template to test the wall. PNG files are 7016 × 9933 pixels, tagged at 300 DPI; the matching SVGs are editable vector artwork. Ask your printer to check the chosen file, paper and any border or bleed requirements. A small proof helps you assess colour and fine detail before ordering a large print. Printing and framing are separate from the digital download.
