Apothecary wall art: style a bottle-inspired dark academia shelf

Apothecary bottle artwork can give a study shelf a clear theme without turning the surface into a crowded collection of glassware. The illustrated vessels provide the detail, leaving the actual shelf free for a few books and objects that are useful or personally meaningful.
Use illustrated bottles above a shelf with a few closed books
Begin with a small number of closed books and one plain vessel. Amber glass, bottle green and warm timber connect naturally with the illustrated bottles. They do not all need to appear at once. Choose the material already strongest in the room, then use the artwork to introduce one additional colour or shape.
Repeat amber or bottle-green accents in one object
Leave some separation between the wall art and small objects on the shelf. Several tiny bottles lined up directly beneath an equally detailed bottle print can make both areas harder to read. Vary the height of the physical objects, keep the centre relatively low, and let the artwork remain the most detailed part of the arrangement.
Separate wall art from busy collections of small objects
A single A1 bottle composition can organise a shelf wall. If the furniture is wide enough for a pair, a grimoire or hourglass companion can extend the study idea while changing the silhouette. Measure the outside frames and all gaps, then compare the group with the shelf width using paper templates. Keep practical space for books to be taken out and put back.
Check the A1 print before choosing a frame
The supplied A1 artwork is portrait, 594 × 841 mm. Measure the paper and the outside frame separately, then make a full-size paper template to test the wall. PNG files are 7016 × 9933 pixels, tagged at 300 DPI; the matching SVGs are editable vector artwork. Ask your printer to check the chosen file, paper and any border or bleed requirements. A small proof helps you assess colour and fine detail before ordering a large print. Printing and framing are separate from the digital download.
